Darrius A. Stanley Introduction
Darrius A. Stanley PhD is an assistant professor of organizational leadership, policy, and development at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Darrius is an alum of the prestigious Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, a Historically Black University. He received his Masters of Education from the University of Central Florida, and his PhD in Educational Administration from Michigan State University. Darrius is a former middle school educator and school leader. Darrius is on the Planning Committee for the 2023 UCEA Conference being held in Currently, his research foci include: Black teachers (teacher diversity), culturally responsive, and community-engaged school leadership practice. Darrius centers Black educational perspectives and philosophies in the preparation of aspiring school, district and university leaders. Darrius is a community-engaged scholar committed to the liberation of Black students, educators, and families.

Amie Cieminski Introduction
Amie is an associate professor of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. Before my academic appointment, She served as a K-12 teacher, principal, and administrator for almost 30 years in Minnesota, California, and Colorado. Her passion is helping others grow and learn. Teaching graduate students who are aspiring principals and school district administrators provides that opportunity for her now. She teaches courses on school leadership, organizational change, and developing people through human resource and professional learning strategies as well as works with the Colorado Department of Education on various initiatives to improve student outcomes. Amie's research interests are diverse and include leadership development, inclusive and culturally responsive leadership, social-emotional learning, and effective instructional design. She relishes opportunities to collaborate with other faculty, content experts, K-12 practitioners, and graduate students.

Elizabeth Gil Introduction
Elizabeth Gil is an assistant professor in the Educational Leadership, Administration, and Policy Division of Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education in New York. Dr. Gil’s research centers sociocultural contexts of education. She has published articles and chapters investigating how educational leaders can learn from effective leadership practices in community spaces. Her work examines environments that foster family and youth empowerment and culturally responsive leadership. Dr. Gil has published in Urban Education, Journal of School Leadership, International Journal of Leadership in Education, and International Journal of Mentoring and Coaching in Education. Dr. Gil holds a Ph.D. in K–12 Educational Administration from Michigan State University, where she was a King-Chávez-Parks Future Faculty Fellow. Her community-engaged perspective stems from over 10 years of experience in New York City Public Schools working with students, teachers, administrators, and families as a teacher, professional developer, mentor, and data specialist.

Jennifer Watters Introduction
Jennifer Watters, Ed.D. is an assistant professor of practice in the School of Education at the University of Texas at Tyler. Serving as a teacher, principal, and central office administrator before moving into higher education, Dr. Watters now prepares instructional coaches and school leaders. Her research centers around school leadership learning to improve leadership attrition and advance school improvement outcomes.
