
Long-time AERA Division A member Carol Mullen has received several recent awards. She has been awarded the 2017 NCPEA Living Legend Award by the National Council of Professors of Educational Administration (NCPEA) for life-time contribution to the profession.
At the 2017 AERA Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Mullen will receive the Distinguished Faculty Achievement Award for Service to the profession from the Learning and Teaching in Educational Leadership (LTEL) Special Interest Group (SIG). The LTEL SIG will present the award to Mullen at the business meeting.
Additionally, Mullen has received the 2016–2017 Excellence in Research and Creative Scholarship award from the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences (CLAHS) at Virginia Tech.
