
Jyotsna Vaid, a professor with the Department of Psychology and the Women’s and Gender Studies program in the College of Liberal Arts at Texas A&M, was just named a fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
“It is an incredible honor to have one’s work be recognized in this way by colleagues in one’s discipline,” she said.
Vaid came to Texas A&M University in 1986 and specializes in cognition and cognitive neuroscience. She is also the director of the Language and Cognition Laboratory.
